PPDS, MMD, TP Vision and AOC team up for Dam tot Damloop in support of Eye Care Foundation

On Sunday 22 September 2025 enthusiastic runners from PPDS, MMD Monitors and Displays, TP Vision, and AOC teamed up and came together to take part in the Dam tot Damloop, one of the Netherlands’ most iconic running events. Their goal went beyond conquering the 10 mile course, with a shared ambition to raise both funds and awareness in aid of the Eye Care Foundation, a long standing charity partner of TPV Cares, dedicated to preventing and curing avoidable blindness in developing countries.

The initiative brought colleagues from across the organisation together, uniting under a single cause that reflects the group’s values of care, commitment, and community and its work supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – in this case SDG3 – Good Health and Well-being.

Stefan van Sabben, Global CSR and Sustainability Lead at PPDS, shared his pride in the team’s efforts, saying: “Sustaining long term partnerships with charities such as the Eye Care Foundation is incredibly important to us. These relationships allow us to create real, lasting impact. I am especially proud that colleagues from across our organisation have stepped up once again to support this vital cause, demonstrating the dedication and spirit that define our company culture.”

With every stride, the runners not only contributed to the success of this year’s Dam tot Damloop but also reinforced the shared commitment of PPDS, MMD, TP Vision, and AOC to support communities worldwide.

Marion Chaignon, Senior Marketing Manager EMEA at PPDS, said: “The team spirit and camaraderie at events like this makes the 10 miles – that’s 16 kilometres – of the Dam tot Damloop feel easy. Running through the IJ Tunnel is an obvious highlight, but the course gives a unique view of these two cities as well. This was my second year taking part in this event and I thank my team members, and TPV Cares, for the opportunity.”
