In case you have not heard, we’re here to share that Philips hospitality displays are back – with a new name and a new suite of state-of-the-art products. Now known officially as PPDS, we are thrilled to be back in the industry with our long-time customers and partners.

In 2020, PPDS experienced substantial growth in the hospitality market through its European business, following the launch of the industry advancing Android-powered, Google Certified MediaSuite pro TVs at ISE 2019, with the range updated last year. Now installed in tens of thousands of hotel rooms, MediaSuite significantly raises the bar for hospitality TVs and entertainment choice, as the first of its kind to feature embedded Chromecast at launch, while offering access to thousands of popular apps, games and streaming services, plus extensive front and back end control and management features.

The MediaSuite range will be officially launched in the US and Canada this spring.

The arrival of the new range of Android-powered hotel TVs from PPDS in North America will elevate the options available to hoteliers eager to enhance their guest experience with the most state-of-the-art technology. Additionally, hoteliers will appreciate that each Philips TV has been expertly designed with the right features and precision to meet and exceed rigorous industry requirements.

With technology ever-evolving, PPDS is set to launch a highly anticipated ‘Extended Lifetime’ promise to ensure that its Android-powered hotel TVs perform better with age, allowing for high-performing experience in every guest room, regardless of when the TV was purchased.

As a service-oriented solution provider, PPDS is focused on creating a seamless customer experience by offering global capabilities with dedicated local contacts. We now have designated International Key Account Management experts, part of a brand new, highly unique international key account management program (IKAM).
